Volunteer as an English Tutor

The English Language Training Institute (ELTI) provides intensive English instruction for international students planning to attend U.S. universities as well as for those hoping to improve their general English skills. ELTI welcomes volunteers to serve as English tutors for an ELTI language student or to be conversation partners with ELTI students. Where desired, volunteers with non-English second language skills can be matched with students who speak that language for reciprocal language practice: the ELTI student practices English with you, and you practice your second language with the student. To learn more, contact ELTI at elti@uncc.edu or 704‑687‑7777.
